Personal Technology Program
- Qualify for and/or receive free or reduced-price meal benefits

- Successfully complete online digital literacy training
Additional Guidelines: One computer per family. If you or anyone in your family has received a Personal Technology Program computer in the past three years, unfortunately you are not eligible to receive a computer at this time.
STEP 1: APPLY

STEP 2: DIGITAL LITERACY TRAINING
Recommended course for parents: “Internet Safety for Kids”
When student has finished the course, a completion page will appear. If student doesn’t have access to a printer to print and submit results to PTP Liaison, they can “Print” to PDF and submit via email to email@example.com. (You are not required to create an account to print the certificate. The first quiz completion page is fine!)
STEP 3: SUBMITTING YOUR DOCUMENTS
In addition to your digital literacy results, you must submit a copy of your internet bill or other proof of internet. If you do not have internet, call 1-844-252-7452 or visit www.internetessentials.com to see if you qualify for low-cost internet from Comcast.
Once you have your internet bill and digital literacy training results, you can:
- E-mail the documents to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Fax the documents to 941-927-3034
- Give them to your school's Personal Technology Liaison
STEP 4: DISTRIBUTION
Based on availability and approval, your computer will be delivered directly to the approved student’s school within 2-4 weeks of submitting required documents. Your Personal Technology Liaison will notify you when the computer is ready for pick-up. Please contact your Personal Technology Program Liaison or call 941-927-0965 if you have any questions.
Student is not eligible to receive a computer until internet bill and digital literacy results have been submitted. Parent/Guardian must be present to pick up computer at school.
