Endowment Fund Launched to Honor Lori White

Since 2008, Superintendent Lori White has served Sarasota County Schools as an exemplary leader and passionate advocate for education. She has been an inspiration to countless educators, administrators, students, parents, community leaders and business people.

Now is the time to show our appreciation. The Education Foundation of Sarasota County established the Lori White Endowment Fund in October 2016 to coincide with Superintendent White’s retirement in February 2017. We hope to raise $200,000 by March 2017! And with a capping grant of $50,000 made possible by the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, educators throughout our community will have the chance to grow in their professions and unlock their student’s potential for generations to come.
